Privacy policy

The short version

This site has no accounts, no login, no shopping cart, and no forms. We don't ask you for anything. The only data collected is analytics from the Meta Pixel, and only if you agree to it.

Who we are

What we collect

The Meta Pixel. If you consent, we load a tracking pixel provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. It sets cookies and reports to Meta that a browser visited a page on this site, along with your IP address, browser and device information, and referring page. Meta may connect that to a Facebook or Instagram account if you have one. We use it to understand how people find our music and, in future, to measure advertising.

We do not receive your name, email, or any identifying information from the pixel. We see aggregate counts only.

Server logs. Our host, Cloudflare, processes requests and keeps standard security and performance logs. This is necessary to serve the site and defend it from attack, and happens regardless of consent.

Email. If you write to us, we keep the message so we can reply. That's it.

Your choices

If you're in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, the pixel does not load until you accept it. If you're elsewhere, it loads by default and you can turn it off at any time.

Either way, you can change your mind whenever you like:Your privacy choices. That link is also in the footer of every page. We don't sell data for money, but sharing it with Meta for advertising counts as "sharing" under the CPRA, and that link stops it.

You can also block cookies in your browser, which stops the pixel regardless of what this site does.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you can ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how it's used, or receive a copy. Under the CPRA you can ask what's been collected, have it deleted or corrected, and opt out of sharing. We won't treat you differently for asking.

Email operations@drycreekprod.com and we'll respond within 30 days. In practice we hold almost nothing tied to you, so most requests are answered quickly.

If you're in the EEA or UK and think we've handled this badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority.

Legal basis

For the pixel, our basis is your consent. For server logs, it's our legitimate interest in keeping the site running and secure. For email, it's our legitimate interest in replying to you.

Transfers and retention

Meta and Cloudflare are US companies and data reaches the United States. Both rely on standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Meta's retention is governed by their policy, not ours. Cloudflare's security logs are short-lived. We keep email as long as the conversation is useful.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If we add forms, a store, or anything else that collects data, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will reset the consent prompt.
